What is Premium Assistance?

PCPA pays the monthly premium of a Silver level plan available on the Washington Health Benefits Exchange for the enrolled individual or family for the plan year. PCPA pays monthly premiums only. The enrollee is responsible for co-pays, deductibles, and
co-insurance. Enrollee must file federal income taxes to qualify for a tax subsidy.

Do I need to be a legal resident?

Certain immigrant statuses are acceptable. Our Premium Assistance coordinator will clarify the status through the enrollment process.

Which insurance plans can I choose?


We only sponsor  Silver-Level Plans

Can I choose my doctor?

Yes, but you are responsible for any out-of-network charges How long am I insured? PCPA covers your monthly premium for one plan year. 

Do I need a HealthPlanFinder account?


No, our certified navigator will help you establish an account and choose your Silver-Level plan.

What does Project Access pay for? Do I have to pay for anything?


Project Access will pay for 100% of the monthly premium for all enrolled, eligible members. Project Access will not pay for your out-of-pocket medical costs including copays, deductible, and co-insurance; these will be your responsibility.

Do you cover dental insurance?

No. Our certified navigators can assist you with signing up for a dental plan on Washington HealthPlanFinder, but 100% of those costs will be your responsibility to pay.”
